Automation & Commissioning
The Saturn 1 Plant is a sweet gas processing facility located approximately 95 kilometres southwest of Fort St. John, British Columbia. Processed gas flows to TransCanada Pipelines Limited (TCPL) while liquids, such as water and condensate, are gathered at the facility’s tank farm. Livewire Automation was engaged to represent Shell to complete the project. Livewire witnessed the Factory Acceptance Testing and assumed the commissioning and start-up for the facility. The facility consists of Pipeline risers and pigging, gas separation and emulsion receiving, inlet separation , gas chilling, sales gas compression, condensate stabilization, flare system, fuel gas system, liquid storage (produced water, condensate), recycle compression, VRU (Vapour Recovery Unit).
